H.E.M. of Morganton Inc., was formally Evelyn & Ed's Daycare Center now Little Peoples Inn. As daycare owner and operator for 9 years, we experienced many different situations an ideas especially with employees.

One year ago we discovered the International Internship Program (IIP). This program worked so well for us, that we would like to share its resources with other daycare centers, schools and organizations throughout our area. The IIP will provide a trained teacher to work in your center
for a period of 6 to 12 months to teach your students another language, culture and customs. The Japanese School Teaching Assistance Program (JSTAP), has placed hundreds of Japanese teaching assistants in daycares, elementary, middle and high schools throughout the world.

At absolutely no cost to the school or community, they will send a native Japanese teaching assistant that will enable the students to learn about Japan firsthand. In exchange, the assistant wishes to learn about our culture and improve English skills by immersing themselves into a native English speaking environment. All you have to do is complete an application form.
